Open Science at the Institute of Biophysics of the CAS
The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic signed the Berlin Declaration (Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities) in spring 2008 as the first institution from the Czech Republic.
The Institute of Biophysics as a part of the Czech Academy of Sciences subscribes to this declaration and its principles are an integral part of our scientific work. The Institute of Biophysics practices open science and open access to science. Open access in science promotes collaboration between scientists and scientific institutions, facilitates access to scientific texts and data, and contributes to the advancement of global research through the reusability of data.
In addition, the Institute of Biophysics has established a Data Management Plan, or data governance policy, which is published on the institution’s website.
